New Engineering Firm Established in MinookaJune 11, 1997 -- Advanced Engineering Solutions Inc., a professional engineering firm specializing in industrial and commercial applications, has recently established new corporate headquarters in Minooka, Illinois. Formerly known as Fugett Design Services, AES Inc. has been providing engineering, design/drafting and construction management services to clients nationwide for the past 13 years. Among the clients for whom AES Inc. has worked are such familiar names as The Dial Corporation, The NutraSweet Company, Sara Lee Bakery, Warner-Lambert and North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. AES Inc. is led by a team of three partners with decades of engineering and design experience among them. Leading the corporation as its president is Dave Fugett of Minooka. Rounding out the rest of the AES Inc. management team are Al Soley, also of Minooka, and Ken Maglia of Tinley Park. In addition to the managing partners, AES Inc. maintains a staff of design professionals who provide services both in-house and on assignment at various client locations. Although AES Inc. has served clients as far away as Shanghai, China, they prefer to concentrate geographically within the strong Midwestern industrial base. "Our goal is to be a contributing member of our own neighborhood," says Al Soley, vice president. Company president Dave Fugett adds, "With our expertise in mechanical, electrical and structural engineering as well as our strong background in process design and construction management, we'd like local industry to recognize us as a one-stop shop, ready to handle their project-related needs from conception through completion." "It's important to note also," he goes on to say, "that our operating overhead in Minooka is considerably lower than that of our Chicago- and suburban-based competitors. This savings is obviously passed on to our clients in the form of very competitive rates." AES Inc. uses the latest in computer-aided design technology to provide its clients with construction documents in virtually all engineering disciplines. If necessary, they also have the means available to manually produce blueprints and working drawings. "It's important in our industry," says vice president Ken Maglia, "to be able to give the client the drawings he needs in the format he needs them in. We take pride in being able to do that, and our clients appreciate it."
